T&Cs for Joining CityRun Taxi Service

By joining CityRun Taxi Service, all drivers agree to the following terms and conditions:

CityRun Taxi Service operates on a "No Job, No Fee" basis.
A 15% commission applies only on jobs with a fare of £10 or more.
Example: If a job is £20, the driver pays £3.00 (15%).
No commission is charged on jobs under £10.
Tips received directly from customers are not subject to commission.
Drivers will receive a weekly commission report, and any balance owed must be cleared within two (2) days of receiving the report.
For transparency, if a driver pays £180 in commission, they will have earned a minimum of £1200, possibly more, due to commission-free lower-fare jobs.

Drivers must accept all jobs assigned to them.
While working, drivers are required to share their live location via WhatsApp. Turning off the live location will be treated as the end of the driver’s shift.
Cancellations of confirmed jobs are not permitted without prior approval.

All jobs fall under the following categories:

On Meter Job
- The customer pays the fare shown on the meter.
- The driver must submit a photo of the meter showing the total fare after each job.
- If no photo is provided, the fare will be calculated based on distance and added to the weekly report.
Fixed Price Job
- The customer pays a fixed fare determined by CityRun Taxi Service.
Account Job
- The company pays the fare directly to the driver, typically on the same day or the following day.
- All account job fares will be disclosed in advance so the driver knows how much it is worth.
- The driver can decide to either accept or decline an account job before it is assigned.

All drivers are required to send a message to the company each time a customer is picked up or dropped off, using the following single-letter codes: P — Customer picked up & D — Customer dropped off
In the event of urgent jobs, the company reserves the right to contact drivers even if they are off work.
For advance bookings, the company will make every effort to distribute jobs fairly among all active drivers.

CityRun Taxi Service does not guarantee jobs.
Drivers are considered independent taxi drivers, not employees of the company.
Driers are not exclusively bound to CityRun and may take jobs from other company.
The driver is solely responsible for their own public liability insurance. Any injury, accident, damage, or legal claim occurring while driving will not be the responsibility of CityRun Taxi Service.
CityRun Taxi Service is not liable for any: Customer no-shows, Non-payment by customers (metered or fixed price jobs)
In the event of a customer experiencing financial loss or inconvenience due to the driver's negligence (e.g., the driver arriving late causing the customer to miss a train), any compensation or claim will be the driver's responsibility, not the company's.
If requested, drivers must agree to display the CityRun Taxi Service logo on their vehicle or equipment.

All policies are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and operational efficiency for all drivers.

6. Confidentiality / Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

The Driver agrees to strictly maintain the confidentiality of all business-related information obtained during their association with CityRun Taxi Service.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Customer details and contact information
- Pricing structures and fare policies
- Company procedures, software, and job assignment methods
- Any communication between the Driver and the Company
The Driver shall not disclose, share, or use any confidential information for personal gain or for the benefit of any competitor.
This clause shall remain in effect indefinitely, even after the Driver ceases to work with the Company.
Any breach of this clause may result in immediate termination and may lead to legal action.
